Fee Assistance Application for Medical School
The fees for the medical school application add up quickly so the AAMC has developed a program to help with the cost and make the process more accessible to lower-income applicants. The fee assistance application for medical school is an invaluable resource for aspiring doctors who face financial constraints.
Eligibility
Eligible applicants who meet certain income guidelines can benefit from reduced costs for the MCAT exam, medical school application fees, and other related expenses. Applicants are also then eligible for MCAT materials totaling up to $268. By providing documentation to support their financial need, applicants can demonstrate their eligibility for fee assistance.
Application & Benefit Timeframe

Upon approval, applicants will receive a fee assistance award that can significantly offset the costs of their medical school application.
By offering fee assistance, the AAMC is committed to ensuring that financial limitations do not hinder talented individuals from pursuing their dreams of becoming doctors. This program opens doors for aspiring physicians, enabling them to focus on their studies and training without the burden of excessive financial strain.
